Linn Svahn (born December 9, 1999 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Svahn, who competes for Östersunds SK , mainly took part in junior races until 2019. At the start of the 2018/19 season, she ran her first race in the Scandinavian Cup in Östersund and finished eighth in the sprint. In the further course of the season she achieved her first podium finish in the Scandinavian Cup in Madona with second place in the sprint and at the end of the season the 24th place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2019 , she won the bronze medal with the relay. In addition, she ran there on the 20th place over 5 km freestyle, on the 11th place in the 15 km mass start race and on the fourth place in the sprint. She made her World Cup debut in March 2019 in Falun . She got her first World Cup points with 21st place in the sprint. At her second start in the World Cup in December 2019 in Davos , she won her first World Cup victory in the sprint. More victories followed together with Maja Dahlqvist in the team sprint in Planica and in Dresden and in the sprint in Dresden and Falun. At the end of the season she came in 31st place on the ski tour and came third in the sprint in Drammen . She won the Sprint World Cup and took 16th place in the overall World Cup.
