Linor Abargil ( Hebrew לינור אברג'יל, Born February 17, 1980 in Israel ) is an Israeli model and Miss World 1998.

Life

Abargil was the victim of a violent crime a few weeks before her Miss World freestyle. Since then she has been publicly involved in the fight against sexual offenses. A film to deal with this event was planned together with Cecilia Peck , the daughter of Gregory Peck .

The Miss World election took place in November 1998 in the Seychelles . Linor Abargil succeeded Diana Hayden . She was married to the Lithuanian basketball player Šarūnas Jasikevičius between 2006 and 2008 . The marriage remained childless.
