The Linzer Tauplitz-Haus is located in the municipality of Bad Mitterndorf in Styria , Austria . It is a refuge of Category II of the Alpine Club Linz , a section of the PES . It stands at 1645 m above sea level on the Tauplitzalm in the Dead Mountains .
