Lisa Nielebock
Lisa Nielebock (* 1978 in Tübingen ) is a German theater director. From 2000 to 2004 she studied directing at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen .
Since April 2014 she has held the leading professorship for directing at the Folkwang University of the Arts.
Career
With her production Phaidras Liebe by Sarah Kane she was invited to the festival “ Radikal jung ”, with Penthesilea von Kleist to the NRW-Theatertreffen.
For her diploma production Elektra after Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Aischylos she was awarded the Folkwang Prize in 2004 and by the Körber Foundation.
From 2004 to 2005 she was assistant director in Munich at the Bavarian State Theater and at the Metropoltheater . In Recklinghausen she assisted at the Ruhr Festival .
Since 2005 she has been in-house director at the Schauspielhaus Bochum ; there she staged a. a. Heinrich von Kleist's Penthesilea , Ghosts of Ibsen , Macbeth by William Shakespeare , Roberto Zucco of Koltès, Casimir and Karoline of Horváth , Amphitryon by Kleist and Job by Joseph Roth. At the Nationaltheater Mannheim she staged Lessing's Emilia Galotti as well as Medea von Grillparzer and Euripides and Iphigenie auf Tauris von Goethe. She staged Roland Schimmelpfennig's Der Elefte Gesang for the RUHR.2010 theater project “Odyssey Europe” . At the National Theater Weimar she staged Prince Friedrich von Homburg von Kleist and The Winter Tale by Shakespeare. At the Essen Theater she showed Nathan the Wise by Lessing, at the Bern Konzerttheater Torquato Tasso by Goethe and King Lear by Shakespeare.
