Lisa Vinsa (born June 12, 1995 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Vinsa, who competes for the Piteå Elit SK , mainly competed in junior races from 2011 to 2015. She completed her first race in the Scandinavian Cup in January 2012 in Åsarna , which she finished in 47th place in the sprint. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2015 in Almaty , she finished 31st in the sprint and fourth in the relay. She made her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in February 2016 in Stockholm , which she finished in 57th place in the sprint. At the 2017 U23 World Championships in Soldier Hollow , she came 34th in sprint, 31st place over 10 km freestyle and 23rd place in skiathlon . In the 2017/18 season she achieved 23rd place in the overall Scandinavian Cup ranking with two top ten placements. At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , she finished 21st place over 10 km classic, 20th place in the sprint and 11th place in the skiathlon. At the Tour de Ski 2018/19 , which she finished in 14th place, she got her first World Cup points with 27th place in the 10 km mass start race in Oberstdorf and achieved her first top in eighth place in the final stage in Fiemme Valley -Ten place in the World Cup. At the beginning of March 2019 she achieved third place in the pursuit and second place over 5 km classic on the mini tour in Madona and finally achieved sixth place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup and 47th place in the overall World Cup.
