Station reception building (Blankensee Meckl. Ost) and The Blankensee (Meckl) station on the Berlin Northern Railway went into operation in 1877. Since 1893 the line from Blankensee to Strasburg of the Mecklenburg Friedrich Wilhelm Railway Company (MFWE) branched off there . In 1907 the branch line was given its own station opposite the northern line building, later also called Blankensee Ost . This station was in operation until 1945.
