List of the depictions of Johannes Nepomuk in the Lilienfeld district

Johannes Nepomuk , canonized in 1729, is the third most frequently depicted saint in Austria after Maria and Joseph . There are images of Johannes Nepomuk at three locations in the Lower Austrian district of Lilienfeld .

Only after Bohemia , but before its beatification or canonization, did the veneration of Johannes Nepomuk begin in Lower Austria , which is documented in the form of statues and pictures.

		Statue of Johannes Nepomuk	Hainfeld (Lower Austria)			In Hainfeld by the pedestrian bridge at the confluence of Wiener Strasse and Hainfelder Strasse there is a statue of Johannes Nepomuk from 1763. This is a listed building .
		Painting Johannes Nepomuk	Lilienfeld Abbey			In the church of Stift Lilienfeld , on the Benedictine altar to the left behind the high altar, there is a cafeteria picture from around 1800 with a representation of Johannes Nepomuk with the attribute "tongue" in the frame.
		Statue of Johannes Nepomuk	Lily field			In front of the city office of Lilienfeld in Dörflstrasse on the banks of the Traisen there is a group of figures by Johannes Nepomuk with an angel and an executioner from the beginning of the 18th century by Christoph Brandl. The image used to be at the Traisen Bridge in Lilienfeld. The group of figures is a listed building .
		Statue of Johannes Nepomuk	Türnitz			In Türnitz, Oberer Markt, there is a path chapel - first confirmed mention in 1778 - with a statue of St. Johannes Nepomuk.
