Residential stable of a former two-sided courtyard At the pool 5
(map)
Mid 19th century Half-timbered residential stable, part of the old local structure, of architectural significance.

Monument text: The residential stable with extension Ebersbach, OT Kalkreuth, An der Lache 5, built in the middle of the 19th century or around 1800, is one of the few rural properties in the village complex of Kalkreuth that are still largely intact. The two-storey building with a rectangular floor plan shows, with the exception of a piece on the courtyard side, a characteristic half-timbered construction with stems, thresholds, struts and clay frames, as was typical for the period mentioned. On the gable side, it is certainly still there behind the massive wall that was later shown. The entire building has a steep gable roof. It is one of the most endangered examples of rural architecture and folk architecture in Saxony. Much of it has been lost in the last few decades. In addition to the distinctive design elements such as the half-timbered construction and the saddle roof with red tiles, the materials typical of the landscape, such as quarry stone, of which the ground floor is largely made, and wood with clay compartments also play an important role in the monument value. The property to be assessed here in Kalkreuth is, to a large extent, authentic testimony to the rural architecture and folk architecture of its time. For the reasons mentioned, there is a public interest in its preservation. (LfD / 2013).

Ground floor quarry stone, plastered, partially changed, upper floor half-timbered, back half-timbered, massive gable, original windows, sliding windows, gable roof, forms a plot of land with Großenhainer Straße 14.

The sacristy and the prayer room above it have a groin vault. Built-in gallery in 1862. Equipment: Pulpit altar: The top from the 17th century with carved figures of the apostles Peter and Paul next to Corinthian columns that formerly flanked the central picture. The parapet fields with the relief depictions of the evangelists under arcade arches. Jehmlich organ, 1936, with free pipe prospect. Several grave monuments of outstanding quality are placed in the choir.
