  7. Monument text: In the period from 1862 to 1890, a state survey was carried out in the Kingdom of Saxony , in which two triangular networks were formed. On the one hand, there is the network for grade measurement in the Kingdom of Saxony (network I. class / order) with 36 points and the royal Saxon triangulation (network II. Class / order) with 122 points. This national survey was led by Prof. Christian August Nagel , according to which the triangulation columns are also referred to as "Nagelsche columns". This surveying system was one of the most modern layer networks in Germany. The surveying columns set for this purpose remained almost entirely in their original locations. They are an impressive testimony to the history of land surveying in Germany and in Saxony. The system of surveying columns of both orders is in its entirety a cultural monument of supraregional importance. The column stands at the height southwest of the village, in the middle of arable land at the southern exit of the village. The station was the measuring point for the basic magnification network, with which the first side of the triangle in the degree measurement network was calculated. The fixed point itself is integrated into the 2nd class network. The Nagelsche column was found at the original installation site. The 1.21 m high column made of Laußnitz granite stands on a slight hill, is heavily blackened, but hardly weathered. The inscription "Station / GROSS- / DOBRITZ / der / Kön: Sächs: / Triangulirung / 1866" can still be seen very clearly and is attached to the eastern side of the column. The slight rise is probably an embankment from the construction of the station. The cover plate is missing, the center and eccentric markings are damaged. The existing height bolt was broken off. The view is restricted by a water management elevated tank about 80m away. The current center is about 30m SE of the column. There is meadow around the center - easily accessible.
Surveying column with a square floor plan, height 1.1 m, Laußnitzer granite , high stepped base in the lower part unprocessed, no cover plate available, inscription: "Station / GROSS- / DOBRITZ / der / Kön: Sächs: / Triangulirung / 1866".
  8. Former Hunting lodge, next to it open-air theater. On the Gellertberg there is a small former hunting lodge, today's Gellerthäuschen. The name is supposed to remind of the stay of the famous poet Christian Fürchtegott Gellert (1715–1769) in Oberau (1769). Next to it is an artificial tower ruin built in 1824 - it was used for manor festivals.
  9. Monument text: Hall building from 1680/81, in structural connection with the choir tower of the medieval predecessor church St. Katharina from the 13th century. Plastered building of low height, facing northeast, on the saddle roof a rider with a hood and a thinly drawn tip. Large rectangular windows with sandstone walls. On the north-east side the low tower, accompanied by supporting pillars, its gate from the 17th century with a wooden door, which shows late Gothic forged fittings in re-use. Two-storey extension on the southwest side of the hall with main entrance and side staircase to the patron's box. Hall with a plastered ceiling. In the north-east the closed medieval choir arch of the tower with its late Romanesque warrior cornices, in the niche created by the closure of the pulpit and altar. Wooden galleries on the long sides of the hall, modified in the northeast in 1879. Large glazed patron s box in the southwest. The stalls with a double angled centralizing arrangement from the time it was built. The tower floor has been vaulted since 1681 and serves as a further vestibule with a passage to the chancel, above the sacristy with pulpit access, then the bell floor. In the sacristy and on its staircase further built-in late Romanesque wall pillars and fighters are visible. Equipment: Simple altar table, the large altar painting from around 1841 by Emil Schuback, pulpit with polygonal basket, wood, 2nd half of the 18th century, baptism, in sandstone a. a. - Grave monuments in the tower ground floor hall (Dehio Sachsen I, 1996). Grave plaque from Miltitz / Heynitz 19th century, a grave plaque 18th century (probably in the tower ground floor hall). Monumental grave site in the churchyard: Starke tomb, probably 1888.
  10. ↑ Moated castle: first mentioned manor house in 1276. Moated castle on the island of a pond, access via bridge. The existing hook-shaped building in the core of the 16th century was further expanded by the Lords of Miltitz as owners of the castle and manor from 1550 to 1783. Introduction of the round stair tower by Henning von Arnim , who acquired the castle in 1865 and furnished it in the spirit of Romanticism . The northern part of the plastered angular building is three-story like the western part, the Renaissance ornamental gable with obelisks and volute attachments , three window frames from the 16th century on the east gable. The western part probably largely 17th and 18th centuries, with a cross-gable roof and three other ornamental gables, these probably 19th century, as a replica of the gable of the northern part. In the inner corner between the north and west part of the set round stair tower, protruding in a semicircle to the outside, with neo-Gothic windows, balcony exit and tapering conical helmet over a platform with parapet. Staircase extension on the south gable around 1900. Groin vault on the ground floor of the north part, staircases spiraling through all floors in the tower, around 1865 (from Dehio Sachsen I 1996).
