around 1840 With visible half-timbering on the upper floor, half-timbered construction typical of the time at the entrance to the village, of regional historical importance

Two storeys, massive ground floor, presumably a former forester's house because of its location on the edge of the forest, or an inn / blacksmith's forge, two-tier half-timbered, probably from the 1st half of the 19th century, it is more likely that the building was a cottage , which possibly also had a reference to the former Vorwerk.

probably 1924-1926 Well-preserved parts of the former park of great regional and garden historical importance.

Between 1905 and 1906 the Paudritzsch Forest Recreation Home - Leisnig / Sa. On an area of 60,000 m², a construction company from Leisnig built the forest rest home consisting of barracks, tennis court, bowling alley and open sleeping huts. In 1908 the facility was expanded. In an advertising brochure, probably from the time the facility was built, the naturalness of the landscape and its healing properties are advertised. The “heavy burden” and the “dull houses in the stifling air”, “strife” and “hating and bustling people” are specifically named as the cause of illnesses that should be cured in the forest recreation home. The facility at that time is described as follows: The area of the forest recreation home is "... divided into: 1. an amusement park for all common games, such as tennis, croquette, ball game, etc. 2. a general family park, consisting of a large number of light air houses shared family apartments, as well as administration and dining houses, also the community house, etc., then a shared forest park, 3. the men's bathing park with a number of sleeping huts, baths, gymnasium, bowling alley, as well as light, air, earth and water bathing terrain , partly located on soft lawn or in extensive forests, the latter with shady promenade paths and wonderful panoramic views, 4. the women's bathing park, exactly the same as the men's park and similar views of forests, mountains and the wonderful Mulden valley, 5. the boys' living room - and bathing park with similar facilities and forests, 6. the girls' living and bathing park in the same structure. In the last two parks, skittles are no longer used, which have been replaced by suitable play facilities for the little ones, 7. the single-family park for those who, due to special circumstances, want to live for themselves, sleep with the children and bathe them under their own supervision (parents can take light, air and sunbathing in a closed park), 8. the farmyard with buildings and drying area and finally 9. the waterworks with elevated tanks etc. ”(advertising brochure Walderholungsheim o. J.)

In the center of the park was the "lounge", which was to serve as a communication place for the spa guests. Musical instruments, billiards, table and board games were available for this. This common room is likely to be the octagonal pavilion in the middle of the park that still exists today, which is probably due to the time the complex was built. 1906–1908 is assumed to be the construction time. Even then, the pavilion was surrounded by promenade paths with picturesque groups of plants. In the park were the sleeping huts and barracks, of which two houses also remained. 1924–1926 the convalescent home building, which also still exists today, is built, but due to various structural changes it is not worth a monument. The remodeling of the park as well as its decoration with sculptures and fountains can also be dated to this time. During the Second World War, the Paudritzscher Kurhaus served as a hospital. The soldier's grave in the park for Horst Sellheim, who presumably died in the hospital in 1945, dates from this period. Around 1955 the facility became a TB sanatorium, especially for young girls. Later, hepatitis patients and lung patients were cured with open-air therapy in lounges. The sanatorium has belonged to the Leisniger hospital since the 1970s. An infection department and a department for the chronically ill were created in the facility. The former convalescent home has been used as a nursing home since 1993. Renovation work was carried out on the building. The park, with its loving details and idyllic resting places, has been carefully cared for to this day, and elements from the time it was built have been preserved. The history of the health facility can still be experienced today. The former forest rest home is a typical health care facility for the time it was built. It was designed to counterbalance the increasingly unhealthy living and working conditions in the cities of Saxony, which were heavily burdened by industrialization. In this way the complex becomes an important testimony to social history. The facility also documents the history of the spa gardens in Saxony. The monument value is derived from the regional, social and horticultural significance of the complex. LfD / 2015.
