re. 1797 (church) Simple baroque hall church with roof turret, surrounded by an old churchyard with preserved quarry stone wall as a fence, characterizing the townscape, of local and church historical importance.

Classicist village church surrounded by an old churchyard, which is enclosed by a stone wall. In the churchyard there is a memorial for residents of Bockelwitz who died in World War I, as well as graves of the Poitz and Böhme families in the east of the church. Together with the rectory and the former village school, the old village church forms the center of Bockelwitz and has a decisive and unmistakable impact on it. The monument value of the whole thing, consisting of the village church, the churchyard and the monuments described including the enclosure, results primarily from the great importance of the local history and, as already described, the importance of the townscape. 1906 Of local and architectural significance, image-defining plastered building with ornamental framework.

Rectory, built in 1906 according to a design by the Dresden architect Reuter and inaugurated on December 14th of the same year. Two-storey plastered building with an almost square floor plan. Natural stone base, central entrance with original front door, arched windows with cracked skylight windows, upper floor ornamental framework, there rectangular windows, also with cracked skylight windows. House corners with plastered ashlar, windows on the ground floor framed by narrow plastering strips, otherwise gray plaster. High hipped roof with wide front gables with a crooked hipped roof. Roof with beaver tail double covering. The building was preserved in its original form. In its cubature, the building is reminiscent of the imposing rectory in Altleisnig. By referring to historical cubatures, roof shapes and half-timbered elements, a building was created that blends harmoniously into the village image. The house impressively documents architectural styles from the beginning of the 20th century, from which the historical value of the house is derived. At the same time, it is also of importance in terms of local history due to its function. As part of the ensemble in the village center of Bockelwitz, which also includes the village church with churchyard, the school and the above-mentioned parsonage, it also has a significant impact on the townscape. Former chausseehaus, later residential building in open development Dorfstrasse 25f
(map)
last quarter of the 19th century Road money collection point, typical of the time, originally preserved building in a prominent location on the outskirts, at the intersection of several streets, of local historical importance.

Former Chausseehaus, built in the 19th century directly on the former Chaussee. The road houses were the residential and service buildings of the road keeper and his family, which were built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries as part of the expansion of roads and paths to roads. The roadside attendant supervised a section of the road and took the road money (hence also known as the revenue house). One-storey plastered building, massive, saddle roof, simple portal with roof, original window frames with simple roof. These functional buildings, which are part of the picture of the country roads, are now only a few and few can still be found in good original condition. Therefore, the authentically preserved road houses are important evidence of the history of traffic, from which their monument value is derived. (LFD / 2011.)
