Two bridges over the Dorfbach and the Mühlgraben Doberquitz
(map)
re. 1778 Quarry stone bridges in the original formation, part of the old village structure, of historical value.

Two small one-yoke quarry stone bridges that serve to cross the road over the Dorfbach and Mühlgraben. The bridge over the Mühlgraben is marked with "1778", the construction time of this bridge. The second bridge over the Dorfbach is almost identical, so the same construction time can be assumed. In the districts of Bockelwitz, some of these small road bridges from the end of the 18th century have been preserved in many cases, and they vividly document the construction of rural bridges at that time. The monument value results from their technical-historical importance. (LFD / 2011.)

Residential stable house, barn, two side buildings and paving of a four-sided courtyard Doberquitz 1
(map)
around 1800 Intact courtyard structure with residential and farm buildings that characterize the townscape, in good original condition of architectural and regional historical value.

Four-sided courtyard that has been preserved closed with stately residential and farm buildings, some massive or half-timbered, predominantly 19th century.

  • Stable house: after 1800, solid ground floor, upper floor half-timbered, gable roof,
  • 1st side building: after 1800, solid ground floor, upper floor half-timbered, gable roof
  • Barn: marked 1887, very large, plastered quarry stone masonry, two-storey, scroll decorations on the windows,
  • Second side building: end of the 19th century, facing the access road, two-storey quarry stone building plastered, rectangular window openings, tile compensation arches above the windows on the ground floor, arched windows on the gable, gable roof, the courtyard is still covered with the historical paving from the 19th century.

The size of the buildings and the courtyard documents the economic power of agricultural businesses in the 19th century in this landscape area quite impressively, which was promoted by the economic conditions in Saxony in addition to the dependence on the climate and soil conditions. At the same time, the buildings are evidence of the rural building trade, but possibly also that of the various construction companies that had specialized in agricultural buildings. The monument value results from the regional and architectural significance of the courtyard. (LFD / 2011.)

Residential stable house, barn and two side buildings of a four-sided courtyard Doberquitz 2
(map)
re. 1742 Intact courtyard structure, partly very well preserved half-timbered buildings, characterizing the townscape, residential stable house with old half-timbered construction (K-strut), of great architectural and social historical importance.

Fully preserved four-sided courtyard, partly with valuable buildings from the early 18th century. With the exception of parts of the stable house, half-timbered buildings, partly massive undercuts. Renovated in accordance with historical monuments.

  • Barn: half-timbered construction, steep pitched roof,
  • Residential stable house: solid ground floor, half of the upper floor solid, other half old half-timbered construction with K-strut, porphyry portal with dated keystone, one gable side half-timbered (boarded up),
  • 1st side building: solid ground floor, upper floor half-timbered, original center pivot window, crooked hip roof,
  • 2nd side building: with passage, solid ground floor, upper floor half-timbered, half-hipped roof.

Half-timbered buildings with K-struts can only be found sporadically in this landscape area. Historical windows, such as the still preserved central pivot windows, are now only rare. A special feature is the gatehouse, possibly a later extension of the side building, which could only be done in this way due to the topographical location of the courtyard. The old age of the buildings, the rarity of certain constructions and furnishing elements as well as the good original condition of all buildings determine the great historical importance of the courtyard. At the same time, the farm provides important information about the living and economic conditions of an 18th century farm, from which its socio-historical significance is derived. (LFD / 2011.)

  • Barn: half-timbered construction, gable roof (slate),
  • Stable building: massive, two-storey, two-arched Kumthalle, built from rubble stones, gable roof,
  • Stable house: solid ground floor (partly overformed), upper floor half-timbered with stakes and clay infills, gable roof (slate), porphyry walls.

In addition to the economic conditions for agriculture, this farm also documents the rural building trade in the 19th century, from which its building and social-historical significance is derived. (LFD / 2011.)

(map)
around 1800 Half-timbered buildings that characterize the site are in good original condition and are of importance in terms of building history, social history and the history of local development.

Small farm consisting of the stable house, a side building and the barn. The stable house and the small barn, both half-timbered buildings, partly massive, from the 19th century are worthy of monument.

  • Barn: massive with half-timbered jamb, gable roof,
  • Stable house: solid ground floor, upper floor mainly in half-timbered houses, gable roof.

The farm is part of a valuable complex of well-preserved farms, which are rarely found in this complexity and originality. The buildings themselves document the rural building trade of the 19th century. The monument value results from the building and social history as well as the importance of the townscape and development history. (LFD / 2011.)

Residential stable house, side building and barn of the former grinding and cutting mill Doberquitz 9
(map)
1853 Original half-timbered buildings, intact courtyard structure, as a former mill of local and architectural interest.

Former cutting and grinding mill, built in 1853. A mill moat belongs to the mill, which has been reconstructed. Mill technology is only partially preserved. In contrast, the building complex, consisting of the residential and mill building, the side building and the barn, has been preserved in a very good original condition. The three buildings mentioned are worthy of monuments, the Mühlgraben was not designated as a cultural monument.

  • Barn: half-timbered construction, gable roof,
  • Side building: solid ground floor (overformed), upper floor half-timbered with roof bay window, gable roof,
  • Stable house: massive, the portals still covered, old keystone, gable roof.

Due to their good original condition, the buildings are of architectural significance. As a former mill, the ensemble of buildings also acquires local historical significance. (LFD / 2011.)
