Doberquitz is a district of the city of Leisnig in the district of central Saxony . In 2011 Doberquitz had 23 residents.

history

The village of Doberquitz is of Sorbian origin, recognizable by the fact that it had to deliver wax grain to the Tragnitz farm in 1403; a levy that probably all villages that had emerged before the formation of Burgwards Leisnig had. The place was first parish after the Matthäi-Kirche Leisnig . In 1306 he was sent to the Altleisnig church .

The first mention was made in 1308. The occasion was the transfer u. a. of donations from the village of Doberquitz ("2 talenta denariorum") by the Burgrave of Leisnig to equip an early mass in the Matthäi-Kirche Leisnig, which the pastor and the church chief had bought with the approval of Abbot Dietrich von Kloster Buch . In 1359 the abbot of Buch monastery bought another tithe in Doberquitz.

In 1378 Doberquitz had to deliver 18 bushels of grain and the same oats to the “castrum” Leisnig annually.

According to the Leisnig office inheritance book of 1548, Doberquitz included "7 horses with 13 hooves, including one with a free estate that can be borrowed and paid for to the office, the others belong to the pastor of Leisnig and the Kötteritzsch on Sitten". The inheritance and higher court belonged to the Leisnig office.

In 1925 Doberquitz had 56 inhabitants. In 1937 Doberquitz was incorporated into Sion , since 1973 the place belonged to Bockelwitz , in 2012 it came to Leisnig with it .
