Marschwitz is a district of the city of Leisnig in the district of central Saxony . In 1946 the place had 271 inhabitants. In 1950 it was incorporated into Polditz , in 1973 it belonged to Polkenberg , in 1999 to Bockelwitz , and in 2012 to Leisnig.
history
1308 an Otto de Moraschuwyz is mentioned when he was donated to the Sornzig Monastery. A questionable fortified mansion is given by Baudisch. In 1548, Colditz zu Marschwitz's office inheritance book names "9 possessed men, including 6 threshing-gardeners, who are all leasable and interestable to Siegmund von Arras." The upper court belonged to the Colditz office, the inheritance court to the landlord. The place was always parish after Altleisnig . Some of the manor owners named Kamprad (1753), also the album of the manors (1860).
