Röda is a district of the city of Leisnig in the district of central Saxony . 1964 the place had 95 inhabitants. In 1965 it was incorporated into Gorschmitz , and since 1969 it has belonged to Leisnig.

history

Röda was created in the 12th century as part of the state expansion in the Pleißenland . It was subordinate to the Burgraves of Leisnig .

In 1378 Röda had six bushels of grain and the same in oats to deliver to the castrum Leisnig together with Gorschmitz . In 1548, the Leisnig zu Röda official inheritance book states: “13 possessed men , including four gardeners, all of whom can be borrowed from Kötteritzsch and are subject to interest.” The monastery Buch has to collect some interest .

The place was always parish after Leisnig.
