Tautendorf is a district of the city of Leisnig in the district of central Saxony . In 1946 the place had 173 inhabitants. On January 1, 1952, it was incorporated into Brösen , since 1969 it has belonged to Leisnig.

Tautendorf emerged from a mill mentioned in 1378.

In 1548, the official inheritance book of Leisnig zu Tautendorf states "7 possessed men, 6 of which are Balthasar von Arras zu Korpitzsch and 1 of the church in Leisnig can be borrowed and paid for" with 11 ¼ hooves. The upper court belonged to the Leisnig office, the inheritance court was with the landlord.
