Queckhain is a district of the city of Leisnig in the district of central Saxony . In 1946 the place had 105 inhabitants. On January 1, 1952, it was incorporated into Minkwitz ; since 1992 it has belonged to Leisnig.

history

Queckhain was created in the 12th century as part of the country's expansion in Pleißenland . It was subordinate to the Burgraves of Leisnig .

In 1378 Queghayn had to deliver five bushels of grain and the same in oats to the castrum Leisnig annually. In 1548, the Leisnig zu Queckhain official inheritance book names “5 possessed men, including two gardeners, all of whom can be borrowed and paid for to the pastor of Gersdorf” with 2.5 hooves . The upper court belonged to the Leisnig office, the inheritance court to the pastor of Gersdorf.
