The following list sorts different countries according to the amount of beer consumed per capita. If data are available, the total national amount of beer consumed is also given. Most of the claims come from Kirin Beer University , a virtual internet university founded in July 2001 by the Japanese brewery Kirin Beer to give consumers the experience of beer and in-depth knowledge of beer.
