Strasbourg Gate Around 1274, after the city was founded , Rudolf von Habsburg ordered the construction of a city fortification. A city gate was built in the direction of the neighboring town of Molsheim to the east at the beginning of the 14th century. Two pointed arches mark the passage. The blind arch of the portcullis shows a figurative fresco of St. Mauritius from 1895 with the city arms. After 1550 the tower was raised and armed with two cannons. In the middle of the 17th century, the top floor got two small bay windows and a hipped roof with ridge turrets.

synagogue The synagogue was built in 1787 and is one of the few remaining Jewish sacred buildings from the 18th century in the region. The structure of the elongated two-storey building is closed off by a mighty cornice and the corners are emphasized by sandstone pilaster strips . The front is broken through on the upper floor by five window axes. A portico with five round arches opens up on the ground floor . The two outer hives are closed as blind arches, while the inside is preserved as a passage. Round columns support the arches on narrow capitals. The parochet is exhibited today in the Alsatian Museum in Strasbourg.

Wendalinus Chapel (Chapelle St-Wendelin) The noble families of the Landsbergs and Landsecks built the chapel in 1566 as the Marienkapelle. Since the 19th century the chapel has been dedicated to St. Consecrated to Wendalinus. The retracted choir is provided with buttresses. The sacristy dates from the 18th or early 19th century. At the western end of the building there was a hermit's room on the upper floor until 1870, who looked after the chapel. The nave has a western gallery that leads to the former hermit's apartment via a staircase. The window openings date from different times (16th to 19th centuries). The door in the west (1566) with herringbone strips is decorated with the Landsberg coat of arms. Remains of wall paintings can be found inside on the choir walls and in the nave.
