St-Etienne Church | The former choir tower of St-Étienne dates from the late Romanesque. It was retained as a church tower when the nave was rebuilt. The church was renovated in 1781 according to plans by Nicolas Alexandre Salins de Montfort . The choir was built between 1787 and 1789 according to plans by François Pinot. The church is a hall church with a stepped gable and clock gable as a crown. The portal is formed by a classical aedicula . The elongated, drawn-in choir ends in a semicircle.

Sts-Pierre-et-Paul church | The church of Sts-Pierre-et-Paul was built from the middle of the 12th century. The oldest part is the choir tower, which is now a side chapel of the south transept. The church is a Romanesque basilica. A transept adjoins the nave. A tall crossing tower sits above the crossing, which was raised in Gothic style from 1286 onwards. The choir closes with a semicircular apse. Pilasters, arch niches and friezes decorate the building from the outside.

Residential building | Parts of the building on the south side date from the 12th or 13th century. The north-eastern part was built in the 13th or 14th century. In the second half of the 16th century, the mayor and brick maker Jacob Rysz bought the house and had it expanded and remodeled. The two-storey quarry stone building with roughly hewn corner cuboids is covered by a half-hip roof. The angled wing of the building was added in the 16th century. Its ground floor is made of stone, the upper floor in half-timbered construction.

Residential building | In the arched portal to the inner courtyard is not only 1580 as the date of construction of the house, but also the initials HI and the pretzel as a guild symbol of the bakers. 1604 and the initials WN are in the lintel of the entrance door and 1605 in one of the posts on the first floor. The two-storey building was constructed in half-timbered construction over a stone ground floor. In particular in the area of the window parapets, the wood was artistically processed. The base cornices on the upper floor and in the gable area are high and slightly cantilevered.

Residential building | The baroque building was built in 1602 according to an inscription in a corner of the building, but it is believed that its facade could also be older. In 1750 the house was expanded and changed in 1780. The three-story plastered building with a hipped roof faces the street with the narrow side. The narrow side has two window axes, the long side five. The house is divided into storey cornices and corner pilasters made of sandstone.

Romanesque house | The "Romanesque House" was built in the second half of the 12th century. The tower-like building with a gable roof was built over an almost square floor plan. The two-storey quarry stone building has several windows on the front, including a twin window with round arches on the first floor, which is coupled with a common lintel. Heads sit under the round arches. Above that in the gable sits a wooden loggia. On one side there is a round arch portal on the ground floor, above it too. This is accessed via a wooden staircase. On the other side there is a small window with a round arch and a toilet. A column-bearing fireplace sits on the upper floor.

City fortifications | At the beginning of the 13th century, Rosheim only had an earth wall and a picket fence as protection. The first city wall was built before 1267. In the 13th century, another stone wall was added to it. After the troops of Peter Ernst II von Mansfeld had conquered the city in 1622, the city fortifications had to be rebuilt from 1648. The fortification was changed in the course of the 19th century. In 1835 the outer ring of the wall was lowered a little and the west gate removed. At the beginning of the 20th century, the wall in the north was completely removed. The two walls are made of limestone. The lower floors of the towers were partly built in sandstone and the upper floors mostly made of limestone with corner blocks made of sandstone. Four gates with towers have been preserved: Council tower (also clock tower), school, lower and Lewertor.
