The list of Lord Mayors of Mannheim shows the holders of this office since 1810. Before that, the city leaders were councilors who changed regularly. Since 1810 the mayor has been elected by the citizens. Between 1832 and 1875 the official name of the office in the Grand Duchy of Baden was First Mayor .
