Ruth Rosenberg was Herbert Rosenberg's sister. The Rosenberg family lived in Mirow and ran a textile shop there. Her business was devastated in the November pogroms of 1938, only the postwoman prevented worse. In the autumn of 1938 they were able to flee abroad via Argentina - thus they survived the Holocaust .
