from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of stumbling blocks in Neustrelitz contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Neustrelitz as part of the project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Neustrelitz. So far, on April 30, 2012 and June 4, 2013, a total of 17 stumbling blocks were laid at ten addresses.

Three of the stumbling blocks for the Burchard family that were laid in April 2012 were damaged in June 2012. On November 10, 2013, a memorial was unveiled in Neubrandenburger Strasse, dedicated to 40 former Jewish residents of Strelitz-Alt who were victims of National Socialism.
