List of stumbling blocks in Garz / Rügen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of stumbling blocks in Garz / Rügen contains all stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Garz on Rügen as part of the project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Garz. After Pasewalk, Garz was the second place in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania where these memorial stones were placed. The three stumbling blocks in Garz were laid on August 2, 2005 and desecrated in November of the same year, so they were relocated on August 25, 2005.
