The Ghana Premier League top scorer list includes all the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League . In the following the most successful players and clubs are named. The top scorer is the player who scores the most goals in the course of a Premier League season. The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has been honoring the top scorer with the " Baba Yara Shield " (1973) and the " SWAG Goal King award " (2000) since 1973 .

The most successful players are Dan Owusu and Ishmael Addo , who were each top scorer three times. George Alhassan , Mohammed Choo , Opoku Afriyie , Anane Kobo , Anthony Yeboah and Kofi Deblah are the next most successful players with two titles each. Only twice did two players share the title of top scorer. The most successful club is Accra Hearts of Oak , which has been the top scorer ten times. In the same year, eleven top scorer of the Ghana Premier League became Ghanaian champions with their team .

  • Nationality : states the nationality of the top scorer.
  • Club : Name the club the player played for that season. Clubs marked in green were able to win the Ghanaian Championship.
