It opened on October 6, 2012 with the game Liberty Professionals FC against King Faisal FC (1-1) and ended on June 23, 2013. Asante Kotoko FC won the championship ahead of Berekum Chelsea FC , relegated were Tema Youth FC and Berekum Arsenal FC and Real Tamale United .
