The Ghana Premier League 2012/13 ( officially named Glo Premier League 2012/13 after the name sponsor Globacom ) was the 53rd season of the highest Ghanaian league in men's football . It opened on October 6, 2012 with the game Liberty Professionals FC against King Faisal FC (1-1) and ended on June 23, 2013. Asante Kotoko FC won the championship ahead of Berekum Chelsea FC , relegated were Tema Youth FC and Berekum Arsenal FC and Real Tamale United .
