Ghana Premier League 2016

The Ghana Premier League 2016 is the 56th season of the highest Ghanaian league in men's football . It opened on February 20, 2016 with the game West African Football Academy SC against Asante Kotoko SC (2-0) and is expected to end on September 18, 2016 with the 30th matchday. After the Capital Bank (until the renaming in December 2015 under the name "First Capital Plus Bank") had terminated its sponsorship contract with the Ghana Football Association and contracts with Vodafone and Mobile Telephone Networks (MTN) had not been concluded, the season was without Named sponsor.
