Dormaa Ahenkro (often just Dormaa ) is the capital of the Dormaa Municipal District (until 2006 the Dormaa District ) in the Bono region in western Ghana, about 15 km from the border with Ivory Coast . In 2010 Dormaa Ahenkro had 37,455 inhabitants.

Sports
Dormaa Ahenkro is the home of the football club Aduana Stars , which surprisingly became champions of the Premier League in 2010 as a newcomer . The club plays its home games at the Agyeman Badu Stadium . The stars won the Ghana Premier League again in 2017 .
