Ghana Premier League 2009/10

The Ghana Premier League 2009/10 ( officially referred to as the Glo Premier League 2009/10 after the name sponsor Globacom ) was the 50th season of the top Ghanaian league in men's football . It was opened on October 18, 2009 and ended on May 12, 2010. Newcomers Aduana Stars FC won the championship due to the better record in direct comparison (1-0, 0-0) ahead of AshantiGold SC , relegated were Great Olympics FC , Eleven Wise FC and Sekondi Hasaacas FC . For the first time, Aduana Stars FC, a newcomer, managed to win the Ghanaian championship. The club set a world record as the championship team with the lowest number of goals - an average of 0.63 goals per game.

The club Bechem Chelsea FC renamed itself in February 2010 due to the move from Bechem to Berekum in Berekum Chelsea FC .
