Aram Arami

Aram Arami (born May 3, 1993 in Dohuk , Kurdistan Autonomous Region , Iraq ) is a German actor of Kurdish descent.

Life

Aram Arami was born in Northern Iraq (Kurdistan Autonomous Region). As the son of a Kurdish public prosecutor, he and his family were forced to flee Iraq due to political persecution in 1996. The family lived in an asylum home in Berlin-Neukölln for a year . In 2012 Arami graduated from the Mildred Harnack School. Already in his youth, Arami took regular private acting lessons in his spare time.

Filmmakers and agents first became aware of Aram in 2006 when he was cast for the role "Onur" in the project "Birds Without Legs". This was followed by various roles in film projects with directors such as Feo Aldag, Marc Andreas Borchert, Lars Gunnar Lotz, Hannu Salonen, Burhan Qurbani, Peter Gersina and Bora Drachtkin.

In 2013 Arami was in Bora Drachtkin's " Fack ju Göhte " as "Burak" in front of the camera. From 2014 to 2015 Arami played the role of "Jamil" in the RTL series comedy " Der Lehrer ". In 2015 and 2017 he worked in the Fack ju Göhte follow-up films.
