Mission Zukunft is a German comedy film by Hagen Bogdanski from 2020 . It is the third film in the ARD series Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr with Uwe Ochsenknecht as garbage man Werner Träsch in the lead role. The German premiere will be on May 29, 2020 on the ARD slot "Finally Friday in the First".

Garbage man Werner Träsch is on tour with his boys again and witnesses a “ Fridays for Future ” demonstration in a schoolyard. Sixteen-year-old Dennis Kruse is the leader of the demonstration and Träsch behaves towards boorish, after giving him a slap missed. Unfortunately, this is filmed by a student cell phone and posted on the Internet, which then triggers a shit storm. Werner Träsch's boss, Dorn, condemns him to make amends by giving Dennis, the problem pupil he slapped, a one-week internship with him. For the young teenager, however, it is anything but a pleasure to collect unpaid rubbish under the direction of someone like Werner Träsch.

Mission Future was filmed under the working title Mülle meets Future from September 17, 2019 to November 14, 2019 at the same time as the subsequent fourth film Kassensturz in Berlin and the surrounding area. The film was produced by Bavaria Fiction .

criticism

The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm pointed their thumbs to the side and gave one of three possible points for humor, action and suspense. They summed up: “Fridays for… Unfortunately, history is too flat”.
