Claudia Mehnert (born August 5, 1972 in Rochlitz ) is a German actress .

Life

Claudia Mehnert grew up in Erfurt. Since the mid-1990s she has been involved in over 60 cinema and television productions. Including not just numerous crime fiction formats and television games. She completed her apprenticeship from 2001 in various courses and workshops.

She became known, among other things, with her role as civil rights activist Nicole Henning, which she embodied over 3 seasons of the multi-award-winning series Weissensee. The film "Alles Isy", produced by RBB and broadcast in 2018, in which Claudia Mehnert embodies one of the leading roles praised by critics (including FAZ), has been nominated for the Grimmepreis in 2019.

Claudia Mehnert worked and works with well-known coaches such as Susan Batson and István Szabó Michael Margotta. Since 2005 she has been an active member of the Actor's Center in Rome under the direction of Michael Margotta. She has also been working with Sigrid Andersson in Berlin to date. In 2008/2009 Claudia Mehnert took the master class for authors at the Hamburg Film School, which she successfully completed.
