Hagen Bogdanski

Hagen Bogdanski (born April 24, 1965 in Berlin ) is a German director and cameraman .

Life

Hagen Bogdanski occasionally worked as an actor during his youth , e.g. B. for the broadcast with the mouse . He graduated from the State College for Optics and Photography in Berlin and then worked as a camera assistant a. a. worked for Gernot Roll , Jürgen Jürges and Xaver Schwarzenberger .

Since 1995 he has been working as a lighting cameraman and since the award-winning film The Lives of Others directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck , he has also increasingly worked for American and British feature films such as The Beaver , Case39 , The Young Victoria , WE or Papillon .

Since 2018 he has also been directing, whereby he is still responsible for the image design. So z. B. in the pilot episodes of the 33rd season Großstadtrevier , as well as the ARD multi-part Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr , Kassensturz and Mülle meets Future , as well as the episode The Dream of the four Policemen from the Netflix series Berlin Station .
