A simple granite base supports two slender columns with a figure of Mary. The exact reason for the erection of the Marian column is no longer known. Presumably it was erected in the 17th century.

The memorial commemorates the fallen of World War I, whose names are chiseled on the sides of the base. It represents a warrior who says goodbye to his wife and child.

The chapel was built in 1885 by Florian and Elisabeth Feilegger and was the house chapel of the Lotte Kiener house. A plaque on the outer facade commemorates the dialect poet Klothilde Kiener (1891–1980).

In the foundation walls, the parish church dates from the Middle Ages. Building inscriptions show that Augustin Freiherr von Ehrhardt had the church rebuilt as early as 1689. In 2005 the church was rebuilt, the old one largely demolished and the remaining parts converted into a funeral hall.
