The chapel was rebuilt around 1900. The name Frauenstiege comes from the previous owners of this area, the Cistercian convent Schlierbach, which is now a men’s monastery.

Gundaker von Polheim had an octagonal pool built in 1610. After renovation, the fountain was moved to its current location. The name Karbrunnen is derived from "vessel", "basket" or "box".

Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the chapel still features elements of late Gothic style, such as B. a mesh rib vault. At the time of Joseph II it was misused. A memorial to those who died in the world wars has been erected since 1963.

The first historically verifiable records can be found about the renovation in 1701/02 under Pastor Johann Melchior Wieser. The church was baroque. In 1901 the two main portals were redesigned. Ten years later there was another thorough renovation, in which the tower and roof were given their current shape.

Originally a simple farm, the Polheimers expanded the building into a noble residence. In 1911 Pastor Georg Wagnleithner bought the castle in order to set up a hospital, which has had public rights since 1926.

The chapel was built on Annaberg (Parzerberg) in 1468 and was mostly owned by the owners of Parz Castle. The late Gothic ribbed vault and portal are noteworthy.
