The small late Gothic church building has a single nave, two-bay, vaulted net-ribbed nave with retracted buttresses and a retracted lower, single-bay vaulted net-ribbed choir with a five-eighth end. The western ridge turret wears a pointed helmet. The south portal and the sacristy door are Gothic. The right side altar bears Baroque figures in the style of Johann Peter Schwanthaler the Elder from the third quarter of the 18th century. The left side altar bears a late Gothic clothed statue of grace Mary with child.

A church was mentioned in documents around 1200. The Gothic church was redesigned in 1725 with the baroque master builder Jakob Pawanger to a baroque church. The four-bay, barrel-vaulted nave has a raised four-bay aisle to the north with flat hanging dome vaults. The retracted two-bay choir with a lancet barrel vault has a straight end. The walls are structured with colossal pilasters. In the north aisle there is stucco around 1730. The three-axis west gallery with square vaults has two storeys. The west tower carries an onion with a lantern.
