The original chapel was built in 1760 as a votive offering by a Viennese butcher . He may have been attacked by bulls but was able to save himself. 100 years later it was torn down and rebuilt in a neo-Gothic style by descendants in 1866. The community has committed itself to preserving the chapel, which stands in the middle of the vineyards on the slope of the Eichkogel near the water pipe path . In 1993 and 1994 it was completely renovated by local residents. |

The Wiener Neustädter Canal was put into operation in 1803 and extended up to 63 km. Originally it was planned as far as Trieste . Parts of the route were later converted to railway lines, so that the movement of goods fell sharply from 1879 onwards. In the Guntramsdorf area, the ships had to pass a triple lock. |

The first Viennese spring water pipeline is part of the Viennese water supply and was the first supply of Vienna with safe drinking water. After four years of construction, the 95-kilometer line was opened on October 24, 1873. The route leads along the slope of the Eichkogel . Visible evidence is the entry towers 42 ( location ) and 43 ( location ). |
