The parish church consecrated to St. Stephen was first mentioned in a document in 1039. The originally Gothic sacred building was rebuilt and expanded in 1734 and 1844. The nave has three aisles and four bays, the choir has a 5/8 end that is rounded on the outside. On the west side there is an early Gothic tower, the bell house is vaulted with ribs. The church tower is converted into an octagon at the top, the onion helmet dates from 1791. The statues of St. Peter and St. Paul in the choir are the work of Johann Peter Schwanthaler the Elder from 1763.
