Built in 1925. The substation converted the electricity from the new Strubklamm storage power plant (from 1920) into the city network.

A transverse wing with a mansard roof is attached to the mighty, square transformer tower with a stepped pyramid roof in such a way that it blends in with the image of the neighboring houses and, despite the two large access gates, does not appear too bulky. The design fluctuates between light historicism and formal Bauhaus-style language. The building was recently renovated.
