The Abfalterhof goes back to the 17th century. The current building is to be dated before the middle of the 19th century. Today it appears as a classicistic-Biedermeier building with two storeys and a hipped roof as well as covered verandas in front of it. Owned by James Preuschen since 1973.

This villa was built in 1876 on the site of the Pambichlstöckl by the client Joseph Joachim (violinist, conductor and composer; from 1868 director of the Royal University of Music in Berlin) and his wife Amalia (court opera singer), presumably according to plans by Valentin Ceconi . It is a three-story main building with an attached four-story tower extension. In the house were Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms guest.

The building by Wilhelm Holzbauer , opened in 1976, is an outstanding example of the construction of popular educational institutions in recent architectural history. The name refers to St. Virgil, a bishop of Salzburg and builder of the so-called Virgildome in the 8th century.

The cubic core dates from the 16th century and was a pleasure palace for the archbishops and other nobles. Renovations in the 19th century, initiated by Princess Juliane Lobkowitz. Owned by the Sockhammer family since 1922. The villa is a two-story building with a steep hipped roof. The interior is said to date from this time.

A farm belonging to St. Peter's Abbey has been mentioned here since 1122 . Around 1700 a von Tach becomes eponymous . The current appearance corresponds to a renovation from 1792. From 1941 until the end of 1993 a five-star hotel was housed here. From 1997, the Salzburg property developer, Fürst Developments, had residential buildings built on the Fondachhof site.

The Munich brewery owner Ludwig Schmederer (today Paulaner- und Thomas Brauerei AG) had a manorial villa built in neo-renaissance style from the construction company Valentin Ceconi and Jakob Ceconi in the immediate vicinity of the Apothekerhof in the years 1887–1889 according to plans by the architect Josef Wessicken . Today the villa is owned by the German billionaires Helga and Erich Kellerhals .

In the place of the former Eckbäckmühle, the famous Andre Hofer fig coffee factory (later United Fig Factory Ludwig Zeller and Co) was housed here. After the Second World War, the building belonged to the Borromäum (Parsch elementary school). In 1977 the factory building was expanded according to plans by Wilhelm Holzbauer , and from 1978 belonged to the Salzburg Residenzverlag , now an industrial holding.

The church was built into a farm built after 1866, it was the first modern church in Austria after the Second World War and was built from 1954 to 1956. Planning was carried out by working group 4 , consisting of Wilhelm Holzbauer , Friedrich Kurrent and Johannes Spalt . Richard Kurt Fischer designed the church portal based on designs by Oskar Kokoschka .

The property is mentioned as being owned by the Nonnberg Monastery in 1116 . The name of the Schlössl was derived from the owner Franz Mayr, high princely physician of Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau , around 1670 . Today it is a three-star hotel. The cubic-looking Schlössl has three floors, at the corners there are four small hexagonal turrets, which come from the renovation carried out by Baron von Fuchs in 1879.

On the right-hand side of Aigner Strasse heading out of town towards Glasenbach , shortly before the Ursuline School, the first test excavations were carried out in 1817, which uncovered a 23.7 × 23.06 m Roman building with underfloor heating and mosaics. In 2006, a survey was carried out using ground penetrating radar and geoelectrics, which revealed numerous other buildings and a wall surrounding the entire facility.

The forest chapel is a small, brick, late Gothic chapel with a deep niche and a baroque wrought-iron grille, behind which the figure of the painful Madonna from the 18th century stands. On the chapel is a cross with a crucifix from the 19th century. It is located on the grounds of Villa Schmederer .

The house dates from 1909/10; The client was Julius Berger (house and court attorney from Vienna) based on plans by the architects C. Wenz and J. Leiker, also from Vienna. The country house corresponds to the home style architecture of the country houses on the Semmering at the turn of the last century. One-storey building with a high pitched roof, which has another two storeys. Bay window on the north side, entrance loggia with wide arcade openings to the west and south.

Gerhard Garstenauer's own house, completed in 1978, initiated structural timber construction in Salzburg. The building is a bare frame construction with a pent roof on a hillside. It is made entirely of larch wood. A boron salt solution, new at the time, was used both inside and outside as a non-toxic impregnation. The multilayer structure of the ceiling and wall surfaces and triple glazing enables a U-value of 0.3 W / (m² · K). The house received recognition at the Austrian timber construction award in 1984.

In 1411 a separate church in Aigen is mentioned for the first time, in 1447 an Aign cemetery is documented. The church became an independent parish in 1852. The present cemetery was laid out in 1891. In 2003 Gaston Kern installed a new organ with 22 registers based on the model of a Johann Andreas Silbermann organ from the 18th century.

The castle was first mentioned in 1402 as "free property" owned by the cathedral chapter. Owners were u. a. Levin von Mortaigne (17th century), the barons of Pranckh , from 1673 Johann Josef Graf Kuenburg and later Ernst Fürst Schwarzenberg. In the 18th century the meeting point of the Illuminati order . Owned by the Revertera family since 1921. The castle itself is currently (as of 2012) uninhabited and in need of renovation.

The Jewish cemetery has served as the main burial place of the Israelite religious community in Salzburg since 1893. During the Nazi era it was badly damaged, in 1940 it was sold to the former cemetery attendant Maria Frenkenberger, who desecrated the cemetery grounds as pasture and the morgue as a stable for her cows and pigs; she also sold 68 of the 100 tombstones. After it was returned by the US occupation forces in 1946, the cemetery was restored and used again. Here is u. a. the futurologist Robert Jungk , who worked in Salzburg, was buried.
