The list of the best-selling music albums in South Korea includes music albums that have sold over a million copies since 1968.

Note on sales

This list includes all music albums that have sold over a million copies in South Korea. There is no record award in South Korea . Between 1999 and November 2008, the exact sales figures were announced each month by the Music Industry Association of Korea . Since January 2010 the official charts and sales figures have been published weekly by the Gaon Charts .

The albums can be found in the following table in descending order according to their volume of sound carrier sales. The table also contains further information such as the album type (studio album, compilation, etc.).
