Ex'Act is the third studio album by the Korean-Chinese boy group Exo . It was released digitally on June 9, 2016 under SM Entertainment. In mid-August 2016, the album was re-released under the name Lotto . It is Exo's third album to sell over a million copies and their fourth for which they received the Album of the Year Award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards .

At the end of May 2016, Exo's third studio album was announced. At the beginning of June the album title was announced and two singles, Monster and Lucky One were announced. Ex'Act and the singles Monster and Lucky One were released digitally on June 9, 2016. On August 12, 2016, Lotto , a re-release of the album, was announced. Lotto was released on August 18, 2016.

Singles

Monster was on one of the South Korean Gaon Singles Charts and the US World Digital Songs. Lucky One got on the five of the South Korean and three of the World Digital Songs Chart. Monster was written and produced by Kim Yeon Jung and LDN Noise. The song is about a person who is overly fixated on a lover . In Lucky One , a man tries to find true love. Monster sold over a million and Lucky One over 400,000 in South Korea.

In Lotto , Exo describes the feeling of a man who has found the love of his life and feels like he has won the lottery. The song was written and produced by JQ, Seolim, Jo Yoon-kyung and Kim Min-ji. Lotto was able to place on two of the South Korean Gaon Singles Charts.
