Adelaide Adelaide Festival Center The Adelaide Festival Center , or AFC for short , is the first multifunctional art and culture complex in Adelaide. The AFC was built in 1973 and three months before the Sydney Opera House , and opened on June 2, 1973. The building complex consists of a total of six different event buildings, which are mainly used for concerts and art exhibitions as well as theater performances. Adelaide State Opera of South Australia The State Opera of South Australia (SOSA) is a professional Adelaide opera company founded in 1976. Brisbane Queensland Performing Arts Center The Queensland Performing Arts Center (also known as QPAC ) is part of the Queensland Cultural Center and is located on the corner of Melbourne Street and Gray Street in the South Bank neighborhood of Brisbane.

The QPAC was designed by the architect Robin Gibson in the mid-1970s. It was opened in 1985 by the Duke of Kent.

The Melbourne Athenaeum or Athenaeum , based in Melbourne, is one of the oldest public institutions in the Australian state of Victoria, founded in 1839. The building on Collins Street in Melbourne city center consists of a main theater with theater, comedy and music performances, a small studio theater and a theater library. Perth His Majesty's Theater (Perth) His Majesty's Theater is a theater in Perth, Western Australia. The theater was built between 1902 and 1904 during a period of great growth for the city. It is located on the corner of Hay Street and King Street in Perth Central Business District. Since it opened, the theater has organized major musicals, ballet, opera, Shakespeare, and many other events. It has been renovated several times, most notably in the late 1970s when the government bought it. Since then, the theater has hosted the West Australian Ballet and the West Australian Opera (WAO). The Sydney Opera House was entered on the Australian National Heritage List on July 12, 2005 and on the UNESCO World Heritage List on June 28, 2007 . Denmark now regards the opera house as part of its cultural heritage and included it in Denmark's cultural canon in 2006 .
