The Litroux is a river in France that runs in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park , near the Château des Moulins castle , in the eastern municipality of Neuville , drains in an S-curve from north to southwest to north and flows into the Culhat and Joze municipality as a right tributary after around 27 kilometers the Allier . In its lower reaches, the Liroux crosses the Clermont-Ferrand-Saint-Just-sur-Loire railway and the A89 motorway .
