Liv Mjönes (2012)

Liv Anna Mjönes (born September 18, 1979 in Kista ) is a Swedish actress .

Life

Mjönes grew up with three siblings in a family of doctors in Sundsvall . She graduated from the Stockholm Theater School in 2006. She made her film debut with the leading role in Miffo (2003). Mjönes has been a member of the Stockholm City Theater ensemble since 2004, where she made her debut as Miranda in Shakespeare's The Tempest and later played Cordelia in King Lear (2013) and the title role in a special version of Hamlet (2014). She also played in various TV series on Swedish television, e.g. B. in Ettor och nollor (2014) and Torpederna (2014).

In 2012 she was nominated for her role as Frida in the film drama Küss mich - Kyss mig for the Swedish Guldbagge film award in the category Best Supporting Actress. In 2017 she was nominated again in this category, this time for her role as Dagmar in Pernilla August's A Serious Game .

Liv Mjönes lives with Henrik Bäckbro in Stockholm and has two children.
