LiveRadio was a private radio program in Baden-Württemberg and, according to its own statement, the “first digital event radio for Baden-Württemberg”. It was produced in cooperation with the three regional broadcasters, Antenne 1 , Radio Regenbogen and Radio 7 , under the lead of Radio 7 in Ulm. Regional studios were located in Ulm , Stuttgart , Mannheim , Karlsruhe and Freiburg im Breisgau . The Digital Radio BW was only in October to launch on the headquarters of Radio 7 Radio GmbH & Co. KG , founded represent them was the managing partner of the cooperation partners. LiveRadio, however, was licensed as a digital radio by LfK .

LiveRadio was discontinued on December 1, 2014. Instead, two of the three shareholders, Radio Regenbogen and Radio 7, can now be received via DAB themselves.

program

The music mix consisted of current hits and classics from the 1990s, including music requests and one live track per broadcast hour. The program saw itself as an event radio and was free of advertising. Accordingly, the aim was to address the “event-affine target group” of 20–40 year olds, a mobile, networked generation. The editorial part of the program included news, speed camera reports and live reports, as well as reports from the fields of pop and rock, comedy, culture, tourism and sport in Baden and Swabia. There was cooperation with representatives of the event scene. The evening program included two weekly live concerts.

reception

The program could be received on DAB channel 11B with 72 kbps of Digital Radio Südwest in the DAB + standard at eleven locations in Baden-Württemberg. In addition, the program was available in four formats (for Windows Media Player in two different bit rates) as a live stream from 24You e.Solutions (fmstreams.de) on the station's homepage .
