Livia Klingl

Livia Klingl (* 1956 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist and publicist .

Life

Livia Klingl studied graphics at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and French at the University of Vienna as well as in Paris and Siena. She began her journalistic career in the information department of ORF television . In 1989 she came to the daily newspaper Der Standard , where her focus was on war reporting . In 1993 she moved to the same area for the daily newspaper Kurier . From 1998 she was head of the foreign policy department for nine years. She reported from numerous crisis areas.

Klingl lives in the 15th district of Vienna Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus .
