Livio Nabab (born June 14, 1988 in Les Abymes , Guadeloupe ) is a French football player .

Club career

Nabab began playing football in his home country of Guadeloupe and moved to metropolitan France in 2006, where he was accepted into the reserve team of the professional club SM Caen . In his first season he was not yet on for the fourth-rate team, but became a regular in the reserve in the following season. After playing regularly in the fourth division from 2007 to 2009 and showing good performances, he was appointed to the professional squad for the first time at the end of the 2008/09 season. He made his debut when he came on in the 0-0 draw against FC Toulouse on April 4, 2009 in the 87th minute. Nabab played two more games and signed his first professional contract in the summer of the same year for the club, which was relegated to the second division at the end of the season. However, this did not result in any significant improvement in the player's betting data and Nabab did not make more than four second division games in his second year. Nevertheless, he was able to celebrate the return to the first division, where he played significantly more often for Caen with eight games in the first half of the 2010/11 season.

In January 2011, the professional was loaned to the second division Stade Laval for six months , where he became a regular player, even though he had to contend with an injury in the meantime. The midfielder took on the same role after his return to Caen in the summer of 2011. In 2012 he had to accept relegation to the second division with the team and was able to consolidate his regular place after this. In early September 2013 he moved to league rivals AC Arles-Avignon , where he also received a place in the first team.

On July 24, 2014 it was announced that Nabab was moving to league competitor AJ Auxerre . There he received a contract for two years with automatic extension for another year in the event of a successful promotion to Ligue 1 . In 2015 he moved to the Belgian first division club Waasland-Beveren , where he initially had to be content with a role as a supplementary player. In 2016 he then moved back to France to the second division US Orléans . Two years later he signed a contract with league rivals FC Bourg-Péronnas .

Selection team

Nabab played his first game for the selection of Guadeloupe, a non-member of FIFA, in 2008, at a time when he had not yet made his breakthrough into the first team at Caen, but instead started with the reserve in the fourth division . He had previously played eight international matches when he was considered for the 2011 Gold Cup , the most important tournament of the North American association CONCACAF . In two of his team's three games he was on the field, but was eliminated with her after the preliminary round. After a break of almost five years, he was called up again in 2016 and played four games. Also in 2018 he came to another assignment for Guadeloupe.
