Liwynzi ( Ukrainian Лівинці ; Russian Ливинцы Liwinzy , Romanian Levinţi ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Chernivtsi in the historical landscape of northern Bessarabia with about 1400 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in 1677, is located 5 km south of the bank of the Dnister on the regional road P 63 and is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Kelmenzi district , which, in addition to Liwynzi, also includes the village of Mychajliwka ( Михайлівка ⊙ ) with 560 inhabitants. Liwynzi is 22 km west of the Kelmenzi district center and 65 km northeast of the Chernivtsi Oblast center .
