Ljungaverk is a place in the municipality of Ånge in the Swedish province of Västernorrlands län or the historic province of Medelpad . It is located about twenty kilometers east of Ånge on the Sundsvall – Storlien railway line and on European route 14 .
Before 2015, Ljungaverk was an independent crime scene with 885 inhabitants last (2010). Since then it has been run as part of the crime scene Fränsta och Ljungaverk , as the area between along the road in the direction of the approximately six kilometers east of the town center of the somewhat larger Fränsta is practically continuously built up.
The name of the place is composed of the river Ljungan flowing through the place and the term Werk, known from the German language, for a collection of industrial plants.
